To the editor 鈥 Papal guidance? The Pope鈥檚 comment God 鈥渞ejects鈥 prayer from 鈥渢hose with hands full of blood鈥 requires reconciliation. Saul killed thousands, David killed tens of thousands. Result? David was most blessed as father of Solomon and progenitor of Jesus.

Biblically, God鈥檚 warriors pray: David, Hezekiah, Joshua, Gideon, Nehemiah, tribes Reuben, Gad and Manasseh and those in service, e.g. Daniel, Ester, Moses, all prayed for guidance and strength.

鈥淥ne nation under God,鈥 IRGC, TDS and the Pope? Fruits of the tree, (Matthew and Luke) 鈥 Iran versus Trump (leading America鈥檚 military incursion), seeking lasting-peace to 47 years of Iranian atrocities.

The results of the American military against Iran鈥檚 extensive world-provided-weapons is American dominance and Iranian destruction, characterized as finger-of-God miraculous.

Great leaders are greatly rewarded, where truth is shown by results (fruits of the tree). Sacrilegious Pharisees earned Israeli dispersal. Religious leaders who can鈥檛 distinguish blessed-truth from political-posturing are promoting fruitless trees 鈥 spreading moral starvation.

Often, warriors in conflict pray. Roughly, 鈥淕od help, accept, guide/strengthen me.鈥 Essentially, atheists and foxholes rarely mix, good warriors pray frequently; it鈥檚 self-motivational. It works: for Christian courage, while simultaneously American.
