Natisha Hiedeman scored a career-high 31 points, but the Storm鈥檚 offense went cold in the fourth quarter and careless turnovers led to a disappointing 84-79 loss against the Washington Mystics.
Last-minute execution has been a problem all season for Seattle, which is 1-7 in clutch games. Sunday was no different.
The led for most of the game, but were outscored 20-11 in the fourth quarter.
The Mystics also forced 19 turnovers that resulted in 24 points.
Shakira Austin led Washington (11-10) with 27 points while Sonia Citron, who is making her second trip to the WNBA All-Star Game, had 19, while Kiki Iriafen added 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Lauran Betts chipped in 12 points off the bench.
Aside from Hiedeman, first-time All-Star Dominique Malonga (10 points and 14 rebounds) was the only other Storm player who scored in double figures.
Hiedeman, who torched the Mystics for 24 points in their last matchup, got off to a hot start and scored 11 points in the first quarter to stake the Storm to a 24-18 lead.
She continued her offensive onslaught with seven points in the second quarter for 18 in the first half while Seattle led 45-40 at the break.
The Storm stretched their lead to 61-52 late in the third quarter, but couldn鈥檛 pull away from the Mystics, who cut their deficit to 68-64 heading into the fourth.
The Storm head to Chicago for their first game this season against the Sky (7-15) at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

鈥 Forward Ezi Magbegor suffered a facial fracture during Thursday鈥檚 89-78 loss against the Atlanta Dream and will be 鈥渞eevaluated in the next couple of weeks,鈥 Raman said.
Magbegor, who missed the first the first 20 games of the season due to a right foot injury, is averaging 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in four games as a reserve.
