Jennifer M. Brown (29) and her unborn baby girl passed away in a motor vehicle accident west of Toppenish on Tuesday December 23, 2014. Jennifer was born on July 4, 1985 in Toppenish to Ralph J. Brown and Nina S. Thompson. Jennifer was raised and educated in Toppenish and graduated from Yakama Nation Tribal School. She had worked at Legends Casino and at Valley Fruit. Jennifer enjoyed beadwork, sewing, traveling and social media. She is survived by her parents, Ralph Brown of Wapato and Nina Thompson of Toppenish; her daughter, Jennifer Miller; a brother, Marlon Sam; a brother-in-law, Kevin Heath; two sisters, Louetta Heath, Keshia Thompson; and a sister-in-law, Tamara Tom all of Wapato; aunts and uncles, Matt Brown, Tony Colwash, Chester and Phillip Rodriguez, Ross Sockzehigh, David Northover, Clifford Smiscon and Phillip Ashue; aunts, Donna Andy, Jovita Colwash, Doris and Susan Brown, Felicia, Syldia, Loretta Smiscon, Delilah Martinez, Betty Nason, Angie and Patricia Ashue, Pamela Wong, Gladys Seelatsee, Rita and Sarah Headdress. Dressing services will be at the 1910 Shaker Church in White Swan on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2 PM. Funeral services will be at 8 AM Saturday at the church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
